Once verifying your coverage, we will send you an email that details what we are told and also give you the reference number for this call. However, we do recommend clients also call themselves, because we can never guarantee coverage!
Here are some questions that may be helpful to ask your insurance provider to ensure coverage:
- Do I have nutrition counseling insurance benefits?
- Do I have a copay?
- Do I have a deductible?
- How many sessions per year does my insurance cover?
- Is this coverage eligible for telehealth?
- If they ask for CPT codes: 97802 and 97803
